COVID-19 Update

  • We are excited to announce we have phased back to in person classes!
  • In person classes held indoors at the Maitri Center will be limited enrollment (currently no more than 12 students). Safety measures include mask wearing in all common areas of the building, safe distancing, air filtration, and sanitizing.
  • Although full vaccination status is highly recommended, proof of vaccination is not required.
  • For classes at the Maitri Center, you may remove your mask at your discretion while seated on your mat, cushion or chair. Please wear your mask at all other times or if you have a persistent cough. Keep removed masks off the studio floor and place in a pocket or bag.
  • Please stay home if you are feeling ill.

Quick Links & Policies

All Pay-as-you-go classes, Senior Center classes, workshops, and Pop Up classes are managed through Momoyoga.

Classes labeled "Pay-As-You-Go" are mix-n-match and expire 3 months after your first booking date. Minimum 12 hours cancellation policy to receive full credit back on your pass if you need to cancel after pre-booking. Current Pay-As-You-Go class pass options:

$15 per single class pass | For people who desire the flexibility to drop in when they can without making a long term commitment up front.

$65 per 5-class pass | For people who wish to discover the benefits of a regular practice and save a little money in the process. Works like an electronic punch card and is good for any class labeled "Pay-As-You-Go".

Senior Center classes are run as a discounted 5-week series for $50. No makeups or credits for missed classes.

All movement courses held in partnership with Oregon Community Ed & Rec are managed through their registration page. Flat fee for each series (see description below for rates). No makeups or credits for missed classes.

Mindful Yoga Pay-As-You-Go

Taught by Kelly Petrie, E-RYT200, RTY500, YACEP

IN PERSON weekly drop in yoga classes using a single class pass or 5-class electronic punch card. All levels welcome including those brand new to yoga.

Mondays, 6:30-7:30 PM

Tuesdays, 10:30-11:30 AM (Chair + Floor combined: see Hybrid Yoga description below)

Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30 AM

Mindful Yoga blends the wisdom of Alignment Yoga with qualities of mindful awareness to guide students in the discovery of renewed connection & gentle release of tension patterns. Students develop strength, flexibility & balance in body and mind through this timeless practice. For all levels, including those brand new to yoga. Poses are taught in progressions so you can explore from a place that feels right for you.

$15 per class or 5-class punch for $65

Hybrid Yoga Pay-As-You-Go

Tuesdays, 10:30-11:30 AM

IN PERSON at the Maitri Center

Hybrid Yoga combines chair & floor practice, along with mindful awareness, for a well-rounded, balanced practice of renewed discovery & re-patterning of compensatory habits. For all levels of experience. Never weight bearing on wrists or knees. Students should be able to move from floor to standing & vice versa, however.

Mindful Strength course

8 Thursday evenings, October 20-December 15, 6:15-7:30 PM *FULL*

Winter Session registration will open on December 19th:

IN PERSON at Maitri Center

Mindful Strength is inspired by yoga, pilates, resistance training, self-inquiry, and moving meditation. We will explore a well-rounded practice to enhance balance, stability, range of motion, agility, and functional movement. We bring mindful awareness to our explorations to discover and challenge our growth edge, while building balance, strength and flexibility in both our body AND our mind. This class requires the ability to be weight bearing on wrists and knees. Prior experience in yoga or other movement practices is highly recommended. Take your practice to the next level!

Maitri Center is proud to partner with the Oregon Area Senior Center to offer discounted gentle yoga & stretching for older adults. These are IN PERSON classes with limited enrollment. Participants should be able to move up & down off the floor with relative ease. Senior discount rate of $50 per 5-week session. No credits or refunds for missed classes.

Stability & Balance course

IN PERSON at Maitri Center

It's never too early or too late to improve your balance!

In this course, you'll explore exercises and techniques designed to engage and strengthen key stabilizing muscles for enhanced balance and functional mobility.

For adults of all ages. No experience necessary. New and returning clients encouraged to registered as balance is a trainable skill that is best maintained through continued practice.
